Of course the biggest even will be on the National Mall.
The fireworks start around 9pm on the 4th.
This is the 5th annual July 4th Celebration at Long Bridge Park. 5-10pm. There will lots of activities happening in the park like a food truck rally, kickball, contests, lawn games, live music and great views of the DC fireworks.
Independence Day Parade in Downtown Fairfax from 10am to noon. Rain or Shine
Superhero’s Galore! Come and meet your favorite superhero’s from noon to 1pm at the SunTrust Bank parking lot across from Fire Station #3)
Old Fashioned Fireman’s Day starting at 12:30pm at 4081 University Dr.
Fireworks & a Music Show round out the evening 6pm-10:30pm at Fairfax High School 3501 Rebel Run.
This free event will be held at George Mason High School
Starting at 7pm there will be a live musical performance.
The fireworks start about 9:20pm.
There will be seating available at the Athletic Field but you can also bring blankets and flat-based chairs and sit on the field.
Celebrate Independence Day with a variety of activities. 7:30am to 10:30pm

Pratt Park Opens at 4:30pm. Bring blankets and lawn chairs to watch the fireworks at 9:30pm.
Bready Park at the Herndon Community Center.
Fun for all starts at 7pm.
Fireworks start at dark…approximately 9:30.
The annual Independence Day Parade will begin at 10am in downtown Leesburg.
Music and Food at Ida Lee Park at 6pm
Fireworks will be displayed at 9:30pm at Ida Lee Park
This free event is held in the Historic Downtown Manassas from 3pm-10pm
There will be ridge for kids, family fun, food concession and vendors.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for the firework display at 9:15pm
Manassas Park will have a firework display beginning at dusk at the Signal Hill Park.
Celebrate at Lake Fairfax Park starting at 7am.
Water Mine opens at 10am
Carousel & boat rides available from 11am to 6pm
Puppet Show from 2:30-3:30
Live Music starting at 4pm
Firework display at 9:15pm
The town of Vienna will hold it’s family fun at Yeonas Park.
It all starts at 4pm with the 2nd annual Vienna Inn Chili Dog eating Contest
The Old Bay Circus Company will have 2 shows one at 5:30 pm and another one at 6:30pm.
There will be kids games, moon bounces and concessions.
Live music at 7pm being performed by Fat Chance.
The fireworks begin around 9:30pm in Southside Park. Please bring blankets and chairs.
Dale City Independence Day Parade. The parade begins near Beville Middle School at 10am and ends at the Center Plaza commuter lot. A family fun festival will take place after the parade.
Fireworks in Woodbridge will be at the Potomac Nationals Stadium.
You can purchase a ticket package to the game that includes an all-you-can-eat pre-game picnic from 5pm to 6:30pm. Then stay in your seats for the fabulous firework display.
